The word photography derives from the Greek φωτός (phōtos), genitive of φῶς (phōs), "light" and γραφή (graphé) "representation by means of lines" or "drawing", together meaning "drawing with light".
My entry into the world of photography started with a Kodak Hawkeye Brownie camera. I still remember the excitement of loading my first roll of 120 film. I have been hooked ever since.
Over the years I have done wide variety of photography from weddings to street photography and everything in between. I feel it is important to not limit you ability when it comes to developing your style.
I create images using 35mm, medium format film and digital camers. Each of these mediums offer different advantages demending on the story I'm trying to tell with my images.
